In August, my parents celebrated 50 years together. My sisters and I put on a Sock Hop for them. It was so much fun!

I spent the first half of the summer looking for a job, and the second half making poodle skirts. All daughters, granddaughters, and great granddaughters had on poodle skirts. Six daughters, twelve granddaughters, and four great granddaughters of my parents, makes 22 poodle skirts. The Jossie's did their own skirts, so I only helped with sixteen skirts! You can almost see Buzz, Kim's pointer, on her skirt in this picture! Standing from left: me, Kerry, Krista, Cindy. Seated from left: Kim, Mom, Dad, and Blenda.

Princess and Royce are chowing down on their rawhides. Princess is our black lab that we have had since she was a puppy. In the spring of 2009, my sister, Krista, could not keep their chocolate lab due to space limitations. Royce is almost two, and Princess is almost six. They get along very well. They are outdoor dogs.

May 16th was my graduation with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a minor in Management. On May 17th, Rebecca graduated from high school. I am thankful that my graduation was first! Nana and Papa came to celebrate the joyous occasion with us!

Getting splashed by Shamu!

We started sitting on the second row, but Angela didn't want to get splashed. And we were definately in the splash zone! We moved back, but everyone else stayed up front. It was so much fun!

Spring Break 2009 was awesome! As a graduation present for Rebecca and me, we went to San Antonio, Texas. Here we are on the RiverWalk. My sister, Kim, and her son, Michael, went with us. We spent a day at SeaWorld and a day touring.
I am holding Angela, Rebecca is leaning on Matt, Megan has the hat on, and last, but not least, is Katie.
