In August, my parents celebrated 50 years together. My sisters and I put on a Sock Hop for them. It was so much fun!
I spent the first half of the summer looking for a job, and the second half making poodle skirts. All daughters, granddaughters, and great granddaughters had on poodle skirts. Six daughters, twelve granddaughters, and four great granddaughters of my parents, makes 22 poodle skirts. The Jossie's did their own skirts, so I only helped with sixteen skirts! You can almost see Buzz, Kim's pointer, on her skirt in this picture! Standing from left: me, Kerry, Krista, Cindy. Seated from left: Kim, Mom, Dad, and Blenda.

Princess and Royce are chowing down on their rawhides. Princess is our black lab that we have had since she was a puppy. In the spring of 2009, my sister, Krista, could not keep their chocolate lab due to space limitations. Royce is almost two, and Princess is almost six. They get along very well. They are outdoor dogs.
Shamu!

Spring Break 2009 was awesome! As a graduation present for Rebecca and me, we went to San Antonio, Texas. Here we are on the RiverWalk. My sister, Kim, and her son, Michael, went with us. We spent a day at SeaWorld and a day touring.
I am holding Angela, Rebecca is leaning on Matt, Megan has the hat on, and last, but not least, is Katie.
